Report Writer

On behalf of our client, a leading provider of early stage and specialist drug development services, we are looking to recruit a Report Writer to support the Department of Metabolism. The successful candidate will produce reports and other metabolic specific documentation and will work with scientists to maintain a library of metabolism reports and study plans.

 Basic Requirements:

  • A-Levels in Mathematics and English, with an A-Level in sciences desirable
  • Metabolism experience advantageous
  • Experience of formatting using MS Word
  • Experience of formulae in MS Excel
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF knowledge
  • Good communication skills
  • Good work ethic, with the ability to be flexible and work alongside co-workers

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with scientists in each discipline to develop and maintain a library of template reports and generic study plans
  • Have knowledge of metabolism study designs and layout of study data
  • Proactively communicate with colleagues to ensure all data and information incorporated into reports is QC checked and accurate
  • Manage the QC of all non-technical data
  • Use the relevant report template to compile the text for routine sections of the report
  • The compilation of tables, figures and appendices from study data
  • Work proficiently with MS Word and Excel documents
  • Ensure timely and accurate provision of reports to Study Management
  • The production of final study reports for issue to the sponsor
  • Perform other administrative tasks, as required
