On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a Project Coordinator to build customer engagement and manage regular communication with customers, starting from the initial enquiry through to project completion. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales to scope and quote projects according to customer specification and will also work with the Customer Service Department and the Technical Services Group to ensure all activities are invoiced for in a timely and accurate manner.

This is a home-based role; however initial training will take place on-site in Leicestershire.

Basic Requirements:

  • BSc degree in Life Sciences is essential, and a strong knowledge of Life Sciences industry is advantageous
  • Experience in a relationship management or similar role is beneficial
  • Strong interpersonal/relationship-building skills that establish trust, credibility, and respect with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including management
  • The ability to think and execute commercially
  • Proven organisational, planning and time management skills with high attention to detail
  • Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our customers reach their goals
  • Effective root cause analysis skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence and own transport is essential

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Defining customer requests
  • Scoping out prospective projects in line with regional legislation
  • Preparation of quotations
  • Supporting Project Manager in answering services related tenders
  • Preparation of project documentation to ensure correct initiation, execution, and completion of projects in line with customer expectation
  • Ensuring correct project inception framework
  • Provision of technical information to all relevant stakeholders
  • Ensuring key project milestones are communicated to the customer
  • Change management in line with project deliverables
  • Monitoring performance of allocated work and lead times in line with service level agreements
  • Coordinating with CSD to ensure correct and timely invoicing of projects
  • Being proactive in engagement of the Quality Management Systems
  • Participating in customer meetings and seminars
  • Any other duties reasonably required to meet the business needs
